Built in 1958, this Eiffel Tower-like structure supports an antenna that broadcasts television and radio signals for important Japanese media outlets. Tokyo Tower doubles as a major Tokyo tourist site. Over 2.5 million people annually visit the tower's recreational Foot Town and two observations decks.

asakusa was the place where tokyo's poor lived, as it was a marshy area, and even today the narrow streets and traditional items available for sale make it a popular place to buy souvenirs.

the imperial palace (formerly known as edo castle) is a huge attraction, but it not open to the public but two days a year. the imperial palace east garden can be visited on specific days at specific times, and the music room in the palace is open to the public in april and october, but requests for tickets must be made in writing and in advance.

[ ]Meiiji Shrine
the meiji shrine, built in 1920, was destroyed during the war and rebuilt. dedicated to emperor meiji, it is one of the most popular shinto places to worship. the shrine is surrounded by an inner garden of 180 acres which is connected to the outer garden by an expressway.

ueno park is the largest park in tokyo and is located in the ueno district. the park is one of the most popular places to go in inner-city tokyo with its 208 acres. the park is home to an aquarium, zoo, a number of museums, temples and shrines.

the tokyo national museum is the largest museum in japan. there are twenty-five exhibition galleries in the main building, with twenty of them open to the public. the museum is filled with treasures from the asuka period to the present and vary from buddhist sculptures, japanese, korean, and chinese ceramics and pottery to colored xylographs and lacquerwork.

located in the western portion of tokyo, shinjuku is a trendy and popular nightspot with jazz cellars, cafés and other hotspots. it also has the second largest shopping center in tokyo with an underground mall and department stores.

the most famous shopping district in tokyo is ginza. this area is famous even around the world for all the exclusive shops and at night all the bright lights. also in ginza is the kabukiza theater in the midst of all the shopping strips, in which there are performances of kabuki.

kanda is a district that is famous for its bookshops, and with over 100 secondhand shops kanda is one of the largest bookshop districts in the world.

several foreign embassies are located in the roppongi quarter, which is also where most of tokyo's night life occurs. a variety of entertainment can be found here from "hostess bars" to night-clubs.

located about 9 miles southeast of tokyo, the tokyo disneyland theme park has been in operation since 1983. covering an area of about 114 acress the park is modeled after its american counterpart but with a japanese history theme as well. the "world bazaar" is in the main central area and other areas include adventureland, westernland, fantasyland and tomorrowland are the other aspects of tokyo disneyland.

it's a changing or dressing room for the officers. they are separated into female and male rooms so they don't go into the wrong one. the showers are here as well.

the term prison cell or holding cell refers to the accommodation of a prisoner in a prison or police station. prison cells generally are small, with three cement or brick walls and an open side secured with a steel plate, or more commonly steel bars and some type of door (swinging or sliding). there is usually only one door, which locks securely from the outside of the cell, to prevent escape.

interrogation or questioning is interviewing as commonly employed by officers of the police and military. the interviewed is also referred to as a "source". it is used for getting information from a suspect after a crime scene. interviewing is not necessarily to force a confession, but rather to develop sufficient rapport as to prompt the source to disclose valuable information.

here you will find the shooting range. there is a training ground for rookies as well as the top percetn to practice. no one has a reason to be rusty with such up to date equipment. there is almso a laser tag area with a view. This area is also open for small tours for schools as well.

[ ]Tenjin Beach (2 sub-boards)
Tenjin Beach is a recreational beach on Lake Inawashiro in Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. On August 18, 1925, Tenjin Beach was the site of the first Boy Scouts of Japan camping trip.[1] Members of the Imperial Family, including Crown Prince Hirohito and Prince Chichibu, attended the event. In winter, strong winds and waves form natural ice sculptures on shoreline vegetation, attracting many amateur photographers to a 1 kilometer stretch of Tenjin Beach.

located in central Saitama Prefecture, kawagoe developed as a castle town. the city still has traditional warehouse style merchant houses called kurazukuri, built of thin wooden poles and clay, and it has become a popular sightseeing spot.

tokino kane (the bell tower) has become the symbol of kawagoe. the tower was first built in 1624, but the present tower was rebuilt after a great fire in 1893. the bell is still rung four times a day.

kurazukuri were invented as a result of fires that had repeatedly preyed on wooden houses. the construction of these houses is said to have begun in the early 18th century, but the oldest one remaining today dates from 1792.

there is a section called kashiya yokocho in downtown kawagoe that is filled with shops that make and sell traditional japanese sweets. at its peak there were about 70 shops but now only a little over 10 shops remain.

it is said that those five hundred sacred people gathered after the death of buddha to discuss the compilation of buhhda's teaching. not many other temples in japan have as many gohyakurakan as this temple does.

on the 28th of each month, a flea market is held in a temple called naritasan. people flock to the temple, trying to find something they like, or possibly a treasure that is worth lots of money.
